10 Questions for Titans ahead of full team practices

Step by step and day by day, NFL teams are creeping toward familiarity in a year that has seen little of it.

On Friday, the Titans will take the field for their first full-squad, OTA-style practice, something that normally would have happened within days of the team reporting to camp on July 28. Instead, the Titans and the rest of the NFL have spent the bulk of the last couple weeks conducting more virtual meetings, improving conditioning and working in small groups.

So just to be back on the field in a full-squad, offense-versus-defense situation -- even if padded practices are still days away -- represents a welcome return to the regular routine.

“Anytime I'm on the field with these guys and coaches, it just brings a normal feeling in here,” Titans linebacker Jayon Brown said. “I just forget about everything that's going on in the outside world … It's just a blessing to be able to play this game with my teammates and these coaches and to be able to have football back.”

With Friday feeling like a start to the Titans' more traditional training camp – not to mention the first day media will be in attendance – it seems like a good idea to re-focus on what issues are most significant leading up to the season opener Sept. 14 in Denver.
