The final injury reports are here, and it’s not good news for the Titans.
(Bold means a player’s designation has changed from an earlier practice this week.)
Titans

- A.J. Brown (Knee) — OUT
- Darrynton Evans (Hamstring) — OUT
- Malcolm Butler (Quad) — QUESTIONABLE
LIMITED PARTICIPANT —

FULL PARTICIPANT —
- Jamil Douglas (Hand) — QUESTIONABLE

- Vic Beasley (Knee) — QUESTIONABLE
- Kenny Vaccaro (Illness)
- Jadeveon Clowney (Hip)
- Corey Davis (Hamstring)
- Taylor Lewan (Illness)
THOUGHTS
It seems Darrynton Evans has experienced a setback in his recovery from a training camp hamstring injury. Evans was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice, downgraded to limited on Thursday, and didn’t practice at all on Friday. He and A.J. Brown have been ruled out for Sunday’s game.
Brown’s designation wasn’t unexpected, though it’s certainly not what Titans fans were hoping for. Brown posted the following to his instagram on Thursday night:
“No sympathy needed” and a reference to God’s plan makes it sound like Brown could miss some time. At least he didn’t end up on IR like Adoree Jackson (not yet, anyway).
Malcolm Butler has followed a similar arc as Evans, going from full participant Wednesday to limited Thursday to DNP on Friday. Unlike Evans, however, Butler hasn’t been ruled out for this weekend.
And neither has Vic Beasley, who put in full practices on Thursday and Friday. Mike Vrabel was coy when asked if we’ll see Beasley’s Titans debut on Sunday, but I think there’s a very good chance he suits up despite the “Questionable” tag.
As for the rest of the team, Corey Davis, Jadeveon Clowney, Derick Roberson, Kenny Vaccaro, Taylor Lewan, and Jamil Douglas appear to be recovered from whatever was ailing them. Roberson and Douglas are also listed as “Questionable,” but they practiced fully all week and should be ready to go.
Jaguars
DID NOT PRACTICE —
- Tyler Davis (Knee) — OUT
LIMITED PARTICIPANT —
- None
FULL PARTICIPANT —
- Tyler Eiffert (Not injury related)
- D.J. Hayden (Not injury related)
- Brandon Linder (Not injury related)
- Adam Gotsis (Not injury related)
- James O’Shaughnessy (Not injury related)
- Josh Allen (Calf)
THOUGHTS
As expected, Josh Allen progressed throughout the week and appears ready to play through his calf issue on Sunday. Outside of Jarrod Wilson (starting safety placed on IR), the Jaguars are pretty healthy. On the active roster, only late-round rookie tight end Tyler Davis has been ruled out, and no other players carry any injury designation into the weekend.
