UPDATED: A.J. Brown has bone bruise, more from Titans-Jaguars Thursday Injury Report

Here Thursday’s injury reports for both the Titans and the Jaguars (note that bold means the player’s designation changed from a previous practice earlier in the week):

Titans

DID NOT PRACTICE —

  • A.J. Brown (Knee)
  • Taylor Lewan (Illness)

LIMITED PARTICIPANT —

  • Corey Davis (Hamstring)
  • Darrynton Evans (Hamstring)
  • Malcolm Butler (Quad)

FULL PARTICIPANT —

  • Jamil Douglas (Hand)
  • Derick Roberson (Knee)
  • Kenny Vaccaro (Illness)
  • Vic Beasley (Knee)
  • Jadeveon Clowney (Hip)

THOUGHTS

As expected, Davis, Vaccaro, and Clowney all upped their participation in today’s practice, with Davis moving from DNP to Limited and Vaccaro and Clowney bumping up to full participants. Taylor Lewan’s illness is likely nothing to fret over.

A.J. Brown’s downgrade to did not practice is a bad sign. Similar to last week when Adoree Jackson was listed as a limited participant and then didn’t practice the next day, this could mean A.J. Brown had to leave practice early yesterday due to injury.

Update: Adam Schefter is reporting that Brown suffered a bone bruise to his knee, calling him “week to week”.

As for the outside linebacker group, it’s shaping up to be a much deeper group with Beasley turning in a full practice and Roberson seemingly avoiding any setbacks.

Darrynton Evans downgrading to limited and Malcolm Butler popping up with a quad are potentially worrisome as well. We’ll see if either can get back to a full practice on Friday.

Jaguars

DID NOT PRACTICE —

  • Tyler Davis (Knee)
  • Adam Gotsis (Not injury related)
  • James O’Shaughnessy (Not injury related)

LIMITED PARTICIPANT —

  • Josh Allen (Calf)

FULL PARTICIPANT —

  • Tyler Eiffert (Not injury related)
  • D.J. Hayden (Not injury related)
  • Brandon Linder (Not injury related)

THOUGHTS

Josh Allen seems to be on track to play this week. The Jaguars aren’t dealing with any other major injuries to track this week, as starting safety Jarrod Wilson has been placed on IR. Ryquell Armstead is still on the Reserve/COVID list.

Tomorrow we’ll post the final injury reports as soon as when we have them.
