Here’s the injury report for both squads from Wednesday:

- Kenny Vaccaro (Illness)
LIMITED PARTICIPANT —
- Vic Beasley (Knee)
- A.J. Brown (Knee)
- Jadeveon Clowney (Hip)
FULL PARTICIPANT —
- Jamil Douglas (Hand)
- Darrynton Evans (Hamstring)
- Derick Roberson (Knee)
THOUGHTS
I wouldn’t be alarmed about the DNP’s today. Corey Davis was bound to see some extra rest after he covered more ground than any other Titans player on Monday night. Vrabel has talked before about tracking and measuring the workload of his players, so Davis’s absence from practice today doesn’t surprise me at all. I also wouldn’t worry about Vaccaro. If his illness was COVID-19, he’d be on the COVID list.
The only two guys who stand out to me are A.J. Brown and Jadeveon Clowney. We mentioned on our Sunday Night Roundtable recap that Brown looked a little hobbled in the fourth quarter. A limited participation with the knee indicates he did sustain a minor injury, but that he’s out there this early in the week is a good sign that he’ll play through whatever he’s dealing with. I feel similarly about Clowney, who is another candidate to see a “managed” workload given his injury history.
The other guys are trending in the right direction. Beasley participating at all is a step up from Friday, and seeing full practices for Douglas, Evans, and Roberson is extremely encouraging for their availability this weekend after all these guys missed the win in Denver.
Jaguars
DID NOT PRACTICE —
- Josh Allen (Calf)
- Tyler Davis (Knee)
- Tyler Eiffert (Not injury related)
- D.J. Hayden (Not injury related)
- Brandon Linder (Not injury related)
LIMITED PARTICIPANT —
- None
FULL PARTICIPANT —
- None
THOUGHTS
The Jaguars stud pass rusher Josh Allen has been dealing with calf cramps that cost him some time in last Sunday’s matchup with Indianapolis, but he’s expected to return to practice on Thursday. His availability for the weekend is not in question.
Tyler Davis is a 6th-round rookie who didn’t play last week. The rest of the Jaguars’ players are pretty healthy.
Tomorrow’s injury report should give us some more clarity regarding Corey Davis, Brown, and Clowney. It’d be nice to see them all get up to full participation by Friday.

Get healthy.
It’s a tough call, but should we be looking to rest guys like Brown or Davis, in what could be an easier game against the Jags. I’d hate to drop a game to the Jags who looked good last week, but we are favored by 10 points plus.
Sitting Henry against the Saints last year was really helpful for the post season run.
