Adam Humphries and Cameron Batson revealed as sixth and seventh Titans players added to reserve/COVID list this week

Titans wide receivers Adam Humphries and Cameron Batson appear to be the sixth and seventh players reported to have tested positive for COVID-19 early Friday morning.

Humphries and Batson join Kristian Fulton, Kamalei Correa, DaQuan Jones, Beau Brinkley and Tommy Hudson on the Reserve/COVID list. This also marks the first time that two players from the same position group have been added to the list.

Fulton, Humphries and Jones stand out as potentially the most impactful players if they have to miss any time. They’ll need to follow the NFL’s return to play protocols before they’re allowed back at practice. The Titans may have caught a bit of a break with no game this week given the injuries they are dealing with in addition to these positive tests.

Obviously, our thoughts are with the players and staff members who have contracted the virus, and we wish them all a speedy recovery.

The Titans are officially on their bye this week, with operations in the building suspended until further notice except for medical treatments. They will continue to test all personnel every day and hope that no one else comes back positive.

Our very own Mike Herndon wrote a great piece detailing what would need to happen over the next few days in order for the Titans to safety return to their facility.

The Titans are getting dangerously close to this situation impacting their Week 5 game against the Bills as well.
