Adoree Jackson, Vic Beasley, Darrynton Evans ruled OUT in Titans-Broncos Final Injury Report

The final injury reports along with official injury designations for Monday night’s game have been released by both teams.

Titans

DID NOT PRACTICE —

  • OLB Derick Roberson (Knee) – OUT
  • CB Adoree Jackson (Knee)OUT

LIMITED PARTICIPANT —

  • RB Darrynton Evans (Hamstring) – OUT
  • OL Jamil Douglas (Hand) – OUT
  • OLB Vic Beasley (Knee) – OUT

FULL PARTICIPANT —

  • S Kenny Vaccaro (Not injury related)
  • WR Corey Davis (Hamstring) – QUESTIONABLE
  • Dennis Kelly (Not injury related)
  • Rodger Saffold (Not injury related)

THOUGHTS

The biggest surprise is Adoree Jackson, who popped up on Friday’s injury report as a limited participant with a knee injury. After Jackson was held out of Saturday’s practice entirely, we can safely assume he suffered some sort of knee injury during Friday’s practice and had to leave early. Jackson has already been ruled out for Week 1.

Vic Beasley and Derick Roberson have also been ruled out. The Titans will be lacking tremendously at the outside linebacker position in the season opener. Darrynton Evans has also been ruled out with the hamstring injury that has plagued him for a bit. Backup offensive lineman Jamil Douglas is the fifth and final Titan ruled out for Monday.

It wouldn’t be shocking to see the Titans use one of their emergency practice squad activations on outside linebackers Wyatt Ray and/or Jamal Davis to get some much needed depth at this position. The signing of Jadeveon Clowney has never been more important.

We simply have no knowledge about how serious any of these Titans injuries are, but we can safely assume they are on the minor side because all these players are still on the active roster. Perhaps they are being cautious with a few soft tissue injuries, not wanting to take any chances at the high altitude.

If they were going to be out for weeks, we’d likely see the team use an IR designation, because this season, teams can bring back an unlimited number of players from Injured Reserve, and can do so after just 3 weeks.

This is definitely something to monitor in the coming days and weeks.

Broncos

DID NOT PRACTICE —

  • ILB Mark Barron (Hamstring) – OUT
  • OLB Von Miller (Ankle) – OUT
  • WR Courtland Sutton (Shoulder) – QUESTIONABLE

LIMITED PARTICIPANT —

  • WR K.J. Hamler (Hamstring) – QUESTIONABLE

FULL PARTICIPANT / NO INJURY DESIGNATION —

  • S Trey Marshall
  • OLB Bradley Chubb
  • G Graham Glasgow
  • TE Albert Okwuegbunam

THOUGHTS

Courtland Sutton’s status remains the biggest unknown in Denver, with head coach Vic Fangio saying today that the determinant for Sutton’s ability to go or not would be a series of jumping jacks.

Bradley Chubb carries no injury designation and seems to be recovered from the torn ACL he suffered in Week 4 last season.

Despite losing Von Miller earlier this week, the Broncos might actually be the healthier team heading into Week 1 with a surprisingly high number of Titans ruled out today.
