BREAKING: Titans sign Geoff Swaim to extension

In an uninspiring, and disgusting move, the Tennessee Titans have signed tight end Geoff “Jeff” Swaim to a one year extension as their first official move in the “negotiating window” that opened today.

No contract details have been released. Most thought that the Titans would see that they had the worst tight end room this team has ever seen and would cut bait with all of their pending free agents. However, Jon Robinson saw that 6.8 yards per catch that Swaim put up in 2021 and decided, I NEED THAT.

Robinson and the Titans could’ve saved at least a million dollars, had they decided to just drive the entire TE room down to Birmingham for the USFL Draft. Alas, we have the slowest tight end in the NFL back in the fold.

Obviously, the Titans won’t be done at this position, and in the end I think everyone hopes Swaim will end up TE3, as she should, but it’s just an ironically funny start to the free agent season for the Titans.
