Gregg Berhalter names 27 players to roster for final round of USMNT World Cup qualifying

US Men’s National Team head coach Gregg Berhalter named 27 players to his squad for the final round of World Cup qualifiers. Currently in third place in Concacaf World Cup qualifying, the US will play in Mexico, against Panama, and in Costa Rica to secure a berth in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Three automatic qualifying spots are up for grabs, with Canada leading the table. The fourth place team will qualify for a playoff match to secure a spot in Qatar.
