Huntsville City FC launch inaugural home jersey

Huntsville City FC launched their inaugural home jerseys yesterday in an open house event at the newly-renovated Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium. The club, playing in their first-ever season, will play at home for the first time, after starting the year with seven road matches.

The kit features Huntsville’s primary navy color in a similar template to Nashville SC’s inaugural home jerseys. Both Huntsville and Nashville’s kits are sponsored by Renasant Bank.

While it’s unsurprisingly a fairly sparse design for Huntsville, the kit does feature two unique touches. The right arm includes a special patch commemorating Huntsville’s debut season, as well as a nod to the Rocket City moniker.

The back of the shirt also features Nashville SC’s “N” logo and sound wave branding that is featured throughout their kits and Geodis Park, connecting Huntsville to their parent club.

Huntsville City FC take on Crown Legacy this Friday night, May 19, at 7 pm CT. The match will officially open Joe Davis Park, and will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
