Huntsville City sign defender Fernando Cicéron

NASHVILLE, TN – Huntsville City FC announced the signing of Haitian youth international Fernando Cicéron on Wednesday from Violette AC.

The 19-year-old center back started all four of Violette’s Concacaf Champions League matches, including their victory over Austin FC in the Round of 16. Cicéron also captained the Haitian U20 side at the Concacaf U20 Championship and was on the preliminary roster for Haiti’s Gold Cup squad.

A left-footed center back, Cicéron already has plenty of professional experience and an intriguing profile. He’ll spend 2023 with Huntsville City, but this has all the makings of a signing with an eye towards Nashville SC in the not-too-distant future.
