Nashville SC’s Randall Leal and CJ Sapong have been named to the MLS Team of the Week for their performances in a 6-3 win over FC Cincinnati.

The duo each scored a brace against the Wooden Spoon winners, with Leal adding an assist to Aké Loba in the second half. Leal’s second half goal proved to be the winner, and his first goal brought Nashville back into the match just before halftime.
Leal takes his tally up to six goals and eight assists for the season, while Sapong is up to 12 goals and four assists, surpassing his previous career record of 15 combined goals and assists with Chicago in 2019.
The pair make the 27th and 28th time a Nashville SC player has made the Team of the Week during the 2021 season.
