Nashville SC’s Dan Lovitz named to MLS Team of the Week

Nashville SC defender Dan Lovitz was named to the MLS Team of the Week for his performance in a 2-0 win over Atlanta United.

Lovitz played as a right wingback in Atlanta, opposite of his preferred position on the left. In an inverted role, Lovitz delivered the assist to Daniel Ríos for the game-winning goal. He astutely picked up a pocket of space between Atlanta’s midfield and defense, and hit a perfectly weighted ball to Ríos for the first-time finish.
