New Tennessee Titans general manager Ran Carthon is revamping the team's inside linebacker position. Carthon waved goodbye to both starters by releasing Zach Cunningham and allowing David Long Jr. to sign with the Miami Dolphins. Carthon then added a pair of new talents via free agency in Luke Gifford and Azeez Al-Shaair.
Gifford arrives in Tennessee with an excellent reputation on special teams. Gifford also possesses untapped potential as a defender, especially in coverage, an area the Titans could use an upgrade at.
