Nashville SC’s Hany Mukhtar named to MLS Team of the Week

Nashville SC midfielder Hany Mukhtar was named to the MLS Team of the Week on Monday. Mukhtar scored his 11th and 12th goals of the season last Wednesday in a 5-1 win on the road against Inter Miami CF.

Mukhtar leads Major League Soccer with 20 combined goals and assists, ahead of players like NYCFC’s Valentín Castellanos, Sporting KC’s Valentin Castellanos and New England’s Carles Gil.

This is Mukhtar’s fifth selection of the season, and the 23rd time a Nashville player has been named to the Team of the Week.
