What went right in 2020?

Beckeles was signed as a veteran option with experience in the Portuguese and Mexican top flights, as well as the World Cup. While he didn’t see the field, he was clearly a leader and a much-loved personality in the locker room.

What went wrong in 2020?

Despite right back being a major weakness to start the season, Beckeles wasn’t the solution. He got a run out in Nashville’s third match of the season, and played 67 minutes in their first-ever win in mid-August. He didn’t see the field again until a late cameo against Houston in October, and wasn’t in the squad for their final nine matches of the season. On the field, he was a non-factor.

What needs to improve in 2021?

Beckeles won’t return for the 2021 season.

That one will be remembered for a while.
