Nashville SC announces 2023 roster decisions

NASHVILLE, TN – On Thursday, Nashville SC announced their end-of-year roster decisions following the 2023 season.

The club exercised options on defenders Lukas MacNaughton and Josh Bauer.

The club declined options on Kemy Amiche, Nick DePuy, Tyler Freeman, Ahmed Longmire, Nebiyou Perry, Laurence Wyke, and Ethan Zubak.

Luke Haakenson, Dax McCarty and Fafà Picault are out of contract. The club declined to comment on if the club was in negotiations with any of these players.

Dax McCarty, Fafà Picault, Nick DePuy and Ethan Zubak are all eligible for MLS free agency, as all are over 24 years old with at least five years of play in MLS. Clubs can begin negotiations with free agents starting at 12 pm CT on December 13.

Nashville will hold end-of-season media availability at a later date.
