Nashville will open the MLS season with their February 25 match against New York City FC. Set to be broadcast on FOX, Geodis Park will be the center of league attention as the season gets underway.

With the league’s new TV deal with Apple TV+, 2023 will feature a much more uniform schedule. Only six matches are scheduled for non-weekends, with all but three matches kicking off at 6:30 or 7:30 pm CT.

Four of Nashville’s matches will be broadcast on national linear TV, as well as on the MLS Apple TV+ pass (which will launch officially on February 1). In addition to the season opener, their April 29 match against Atlanta United will be shown on FOX, while their May 28 match against Columbus Crew and their October 4 match against Orlando will be shown on FS1. All four national TV matches will be played at Geodis Park.

After a brutal travel schedule in 2022, Nashville will travel to the west coast just once, taking on San Jose Earthquakes on September 23. They’ll host Los Angeles FC on April 22, as well as welcoming expansion side St. Louis City SC on June 17.

As they did in 2021, Nashville will face off against New York Red Bulls at home on Decision Day.

With the new Leagues Cup set to debut in 2023, the entire league will pause between July 15 and August 20 to play a World Cup-style competition against Liga MX. All three of Nashville’s group-stage matches will be at Geodis Park, with more details on opponents and schedule to be released.

MLS did not confirm playoff format, but The Athletic‘s Pablo Maurer has reported a shakeup in the playoff structure could be on the horizon.
