Nashville SC loan goalie Bryan Meredith to Indy Eleven

Two days after recalling goalkeeper Elliot Panicco from his loan with Indy Eleven, Nashville SC have loaned goalkeeper Bryan Meredith to Indy Eleven for the rest of the 2022 season. The move effectively switches number two ‘keepers for Nashville and ensures more playing time for Meredith.

Meredith, 32, has served as the number two goalie behind Joe Willis for all 50 matches since signing for Nashville ahead of the 2021 season, with yesterday’s US Open Cup win in Louisville the first time he’s been out of a matchday squad.

Panicco had previously been on loan with Indy, starting all 10 matches in the USL Championship before being recalled on Tuesday. Meredith should play a similar role, with Panicco potentially pushing Willis for minutes down the road.
