Nashville SC loan Irakoze Donasiyano to Phoenix Rising

Nashville SC have loaned midfielder Irakoze Donasiyano to USL Championship side Phoenix Rising for the remainder of the 2022 season. Nashville retain the ability to recall Donasiyano at any point.

Donasiyano, 24, was drafted 20th overall in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft from the University of Virginia. He’s made one appearance for Nashville in MLS, coming on for 27 minutes against New York Red Bulls in June 2021.

Donasiyano was loaned to OKC Energy in August 2021, but made just one appearance for the USL Championship before missing the rest of the year through injury. Donasiyano hasn’t made a matchday squad yet this season, missing 12 matches with an adductor injury.

Nashville won’t play this weekend during the international break. They’ll play San Jose Earthquakes at GEODIS Park on June 11.
