Nashville SC to host FC Dallas in US Open Cup Round of 32

NASHVILLE, TN – Nashville SC will host FC Dallas in the US Open Cup Round of 32. After a 1-0 win over San Antonio FC last night, the ‘Yotes were drawn against their fellow MLS side in the next round of the competition.

Nashville and Dallas have played six times in total. Nashville earned their first-ever Major League Soccer win against Dallas in 2020, with both sides coming off an extended break due to Covid-19. Overall, Nashville have won three matches, drawn once, and lost twice to the Texas side.

Dallas are currently in fourth place in the Western Conference with a record of 4W-2D-3L, and were ranked 16th in our latest power rankings. US international Jesús Ferreira is tied for sixth in the Golden Boot race, with five goals and one assist in his first nine matches.

The game will be played either on Tuesday, May 9, or Wednesday, May 10 at Geodis Park. The final date and time are yet to be confirmed.
