Nashville SC trade international spot to DC United

Nashville SC announced Wednesday that the club has traded a 2022 international roster spot to DC United for $250,000 in 2022 General Allocation Money. This is the fifth international spot Nashville have traded this offseason, each for $250k in GAM.

After the trade, Nashville now have three international roster spots. Aké Loba and Randall Leal currently each occupy a spot, although Leal has been close to a green card for over a year now and may yet get his before the season starts.

Rodrigo Piñeiro currently occupies the third, but Chilean side Unión Española has already announced his loan move. Once the paperwork clears the league office, Nashville will have one open international spot to work with heading into the season.
