Isaiah Johnston, Joey DeZart and Azaad Liadi have all been called up from Huntsville, as well as Joey Skinner, who is on a Generation adidas contract with Nashville after being selected 11th overall in the 2203 MLS SuperDraft.

Isaiah Johnston, 21, was the first-ever signing in Huntsville City FC history. The Canadian box-to-box midfielder has become a mainstay for Huntsville, appearing in 14 of their 17 matches (10 starts). With three goals and two assists, he’s tied for the fourth-most goal contributions on the team this season, and has worn the captain’s armband for the club in their last few matches.

Joey DeZart, 25, has played 12 matches for Huntsville (nine starts). A regular in training with Nashville SC, he made two appearances for the Coyotes in the U.S. Open Cup, coming off the bench in their wins against San Antonio FC and FC Dallas.

Azaad Liadi, 25, has been a breakout for Rocket City in their debut season, tied for the team lead with six goals, despite missing six matches due to injury. His 0.86 goals per 96 minutes is second among MLS NEXT Pro strikers with at least 650 minutes played, and he’s third on Hunstville in total shots and shots on target, despite playing just over half of his potential minutes.

Joey Skinner, 20, has appeared in 16 of Huntsville’s 17 matches (10 starts). The Clemson product has nailed down the starting left back role in recent weeks with Josh Drack’s shift to midfield, and has been dangerous in the final third, scoring a rocket of a goal against Orlando City.

Nashville SC kick off their Leagues Cup campaign on Sunday night, taking on fellow MLS outfit Colorado Rapids at GEODIS Park. The match kicks off at 7:30 pm CT and will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
