Report: Nashville SC trade McKinze Gaines to Houston Dynamo

NASHVILLE, TN – Nashville SC have traded winger McKinze Gaines to the Houston Dynamo, sources have told Broadway Sports Media. Nashville will receive an unspecified amount of GAM in return, opening space for an addition in the summer transfer window.

Nashville acquired Gaines, 26, from Charlotte FC in the offseason in return for a second-round SuperDraft pick. Gaines played 276 minutes in seven appearances for Nashville (two starts), scoring in the Concacaf Champions Cup against Moca FC and notching an assist against LA Galaxy. Gaines has been an unused substitute in three of Nashville’s last four matches.
