Nike releases US World Cup jerseys

Nike officially released their whole slate of 2022 World Cup jerseys, including the kits the United States Men’s National Team will wear in Qatar.

The home shirt is a simple white number, featuring navy and blue trim and a centered USMNT logo. It’s reminiscent of the shirts the US wore during their run to the quarterfinals at the 2006 World Cup.

The away kit features a blue background with a tie-dye design.

The jerseys leaked in early August, and have received less than stellar reviews from fans and players alike. Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie said on Instagram, “tried to tell them 😢”, while Yunus Musah gave it a more positive spin. “I’m sure they’ll look good on us on the pitch.”

The jerseys are officially available for purchase at the Nike store. The replica versions retail at $95, with a long sleeved version listed at a slightly pricier $110.
