  1. Good show, guys. Thanks!

Probably nothing more than a wild guess here, but I’m gonna speculate about how the next two weeks go.

Ryan Tannehill will sit out against the Texans. He will not dress but will “mentor“ Malik Willis through his first start from the sideline. Logan Woodside will be a game day elevation from the practice squad to serve as the backup.

The “formula” for success Will be remarkably similar to what Bill Belichick enacted against the Houston Texans several years ago with his third string quarterback Jacoby Brissett. 90% runs. Just enough throws to attack outside of a stacked box and make a few chunk plays here and there. Play action, sprint out, RPO, simple reads.

Derek Henry’s dominance of the worst run defense in football Will be enough to carry the day. Malik will be instructed to improvise with his legs as long as the play call is not bang play action over the middle. He will protect the football well, save for one bad turnover, and his legs will be just enough to convert some key third downs and keep the Titans on top in this one.

Ryan Tannehill is already working on the Chiefs game film and game plan.

    1. Looks like I nailed it. All except for my idea that Malik’s legs would be a source of significant impact on 3rd down conversations.

And not even a shout-out on your next review show, eh 🤷🏻‍♂️ … wait a second, let me go leave you guys a 5-star review; then you can shout me out 😉
