Predators approved to host fans in January

Nashville’s Metro Public Health Department approved a 15 percent maximum capacity for all Predators home games at Bridgestone Arena in January.

According to Adam Vingan of The Athletic, “The team is expected to start smaller and work its way up to that.”

Capacity for hockey games at the arena is 17,113 which means there will be roughly 2, 566 fans in attendance or less for the team’s six home games.

The Predators open the season with a four-game home stand at Bridgestone Arena on Jan. 14 against the Columbus Blue Jackets, followed by the Carolina Hurricanes.

Predators on NBCSN

Three games against the Chicago Blackhawks will be featured on national broadcast during the 2020-21 season.

All three games will be exclusively featured on NBCSN, two on Wednesday Night Hockey and one on Sunday Night Hockey.

The first will be a home game for the Predators on Wednesday, Jan. 27. The other two will be in Chicago on March 28 and April 21.

Nashville could have more games added to the NBC national broadcast schedule. That is to be announced at a later date.
