Report: Titans-Bills to be played Tuesday barring no more positive tests for Titans

…Oh? The Titans vs. Bills Week 5 matchup has tentatively been moved from Sunday to Tuesday, per Adam Schefter.

This news comes just hours after reports surfaced that the Titans added tight end MyCole Pruitt and practice squad DB Breon Borders to the Reserve/Covid list.

To accommodate this move, the Bills-Chiefs game originally scheduled for next Thursday night is being pushed to the following Sunday.

The big caveat here is, of course, whether or not the Titans continue to receive positive test results. If they do, the game won’t be played Tuesday, as Schefter stated. That’s where things could get interesting, but here’s to hoping that it doesn’t come to that.

As this slow moving train wreck continues to roll, this news represents the best case scenario for this Tennessee team. Barring any setbacks, this will give them an opportunity to get back to football.

Tomorrow’s testing results just got that much more important.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as we receive new information.
