Report: Titans-Steelers postponed to Monday or Tuesday

According to Dianna Russini of ESPN, the Week 4 game between the Titans and Steelers in Nashville is being postponed:

This news comes just hours after reports surfaced that the Titans had another player test positive for COVID this morning. That brings the total of positive tests to 4 players and 6 personnel members, including Shane Bowen.

News of postponement represents the best case scenario for this Tennessee team. If they were forced to play Sunday, they would have likely been doing so after having zero prep time throughout the week to get ready for the Steelers.

According to Ian Rapoport, the league is targeting Monday or Tuesday for the match.

With the facility closed until at least Saturday, rescheduling the game to Monday or Tuesday would at least give the Titans 1-2 days to practice and have a walkthrough. It’s still not ideal, but it’s better than the alternative.

We will continue to monitor the situation and update this article as we receive new information.
