The NFL’s annual series naming the top 100 players for the upcoming season, as voted on by the players, kicked off on Sunday afternoon, and Ryan Tannehill was the first Titans player to appear on the list this year.
Last season, Tannehill showed up at number 68, but he’s fallen a few spots for this year’s edition, likely due to young players rising more than Tannehill falling. For example, A.J. Brown’s upcoming debut appearance on the list has already been teased.
You can watch Tannehill’s reveal at number 83 on the NFL’s YouTube channel via THIS LINK.
83 does feel a little low for the Titans signal caller, but that’s par for the course for Tannehill. He’s been underrated since taking over as the Titans starter midway through 2019, and he’ll likely continue to be underrated until he leads the Titans to a Super Bowl.
