Not many people probably do, but I have a two Thanksgiving Movie Traditions. The first one is watching the Daniel Craig Bond Movies with my wife in the lead up to Turkey Day. Because of our hectic schedules those are the only ones we can fit in. This stems from my childhood where TNT would have Bond movie marathons around the same time.
The other is the day of the big day, while I am preparing food and putting off getting cleaned up I watch two movies: Planes, Trains, & Automobiles and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. One of the more famous quotes has really hit home as the Titans season draws near: “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
I think this rings really true for the Titans. Especially coming off a week where Ryan Tannehill is likely done for the season, a new General Manager is on the horizon, and a stalwart offensive linemen had his season end where many speculate he will retire.
So I wanted to take a look at a few ways that the Titans life changed fast and we blinked and missed it.
That Super Bowl Window
See y’all next week.
