Welcome in to the second weekly installment of “The Zach Attack”. This is where I get to say whatever I feel like about the Titans football world. This week we are going to be taking a look at what’s next for this Titans roster.

To start off I wanted to take a look at how accurate my final 53-man roster prediction was. I predicted 47/53 of the final players right. 88.7% success rate isn’t bad considering there were two spots (Tommy Hudson, Dennis Daley) where proper information wasn’t available at the time on Sunday.

Biggest Misses: Kevin Strong, Julius Chestnut, AJ Moore, Tommy Hudson, 2 Punters, Tre Avery
Biggest Hits: No David Anenih, Yes Da’Shawn Hand, Five WRs, 2 QBs

Now that we got that out of the way, let’s talk about what’s next. Well the Titans get to go dumpster diving with the rest of the NFL world figuring out who out of players that are available, can fill certain voids on the team.

here’s a quick reminders on the roster rules for tomorrow:

  • There is a difference between a player being “released”, and a player being “cut/waived”.
    • “Released” is typically used for players with four or more accrued seasons. These “vested veterans” are not subject to the waiver claim process.
      • Accrued seasons, are individual seasons where the player is active for at least 6 regular season games.
    • “Cut/waived” is for players that have three or less accrued seasons. They are subject to going through waivers.
  • If a player is claimed via waivers after cuts today, they have to be signed to the 53-man roster.
    • Once players clear waivers they can be signed to the practice squad.

Ok, let’s get to it.
