Titan News: Never tell me the odds

The Julio Jones saga continues for another day. Dianna Russini reported on Thursday that while the Titans have discussed a trade with Atlanta, they are considered a “long shot” to make a deal happen. If Julio goes for anything less than a 2nd rounder, I will be pretty frustrated with this front office. However, nothing has happened at this point, and there still is a chance, albeit reportedly a small one that the Titans pull it off.

On ESPN, Turron Davenport has a mock deal he would do if he was the Titans. He offers Atlanta a 3rd rounder in 2022 and Rashaan Evans. If that was the real life deal for Julio, I’d do cartwheels. A third rounder and a bad ILB for a top WR? Where do I sign?

It sounds like Darrynton Evans got some receiver work in at OTAs on Thursday. I think that is a really good idea, as it’ll allow him more opportunity to see the field and make plays. I do not think it’s a good idea if they are counting on him as a key contributor as a WR.

This offseason, the Titans added a top 5 disruptor per Next Gen Stats in Bud Dupree. I’m hoping he can rebound right away from the ACL injury and get this defense trending in the right direction.

Janoris Jenkins reportedly had his Rolls Royce stolen while at the airport parking lot. The moral of the story is do not leave your Rolls Royce at the airport parking lot.
