Take Two: A new Titans 53-man roster projection as first cuts near

By John Glennon

The nerves kick into overdrive this week for Titans players on the edges of the roster.

NFL teams are required to trim their 90-man rosters to 85 by Tuesday afternoon, and then again to 80 by the following Tuesday, Aug. 24. The final cuts – all the way from 80 to 53 – must be announced one week after that, by the afternoon of Aug. 31.

Position: Quarterback

Making the 53 (2): Ryan Tannehill, Logan Woodside

Comment: Having dispatched challengers like Trevor Siemian . . .
