Titans fullback Khari Blasingame was moved to the team’s Reserve/COVID list on Sunday, indicating that he is the 10th player to have tested positive for coronavirus since September 24th.
Blasingame joins Jeffery Simmons, Adam Humphries, Cameron Batson, Kristian Fulton, Kamalei Correa, DaQuan Jones, Beau Brinkley, Greb Mabin and Tommy Hudson on the Reserve/COVID list.
Blasingame is an unsung hero in the run game.
The Titans’ Week 4 matchup with the Steelers has already been moved to Week 7, and their Week 5 matchup with the Bills is very much in question as well.
If they do play the Bills next Sunday, they will likely be doing so without many key players. The status of starters such as Simmons, Blasingame, Humphries, Fulton and Jones are completely unknown at this point. In fact, if the Titans can safety return to the field anytime soon, the depth all throughout their roster will be severely tested over these next few weeks.
The timetable for these players to get back in the building will depend on whether or not they’ve exhibited symptoms. We still don’t know who or how many players are symptomatic.
Mike has detailed the return to play protocols and how the situation could impact the team going forward; be sure to check that out here.
Obviously, our thoughts are with the players and staff members who have contracted the virus, and we wish them all a speedy recovery.
For now, we wait to see if the Titans have any more positive tests. More cases on Monday morning would likely mean the Titans won’t be on the field during Week 5.

I don’t see how we can stay on schedule with the Bills. Like you said, it’s an outbreak. I don’t appreciate the nfl threatening loss of draft picks. Vrabel has said multiple times we would follow whatever rules the nfl have, and you don’t have the success he has had in his career without doing things the right way.
