Titans at Colts: Wednesday Injury Report

As the Titans and Colts gear up for a rematch this weekend, both teams are taking it easy and managing injuries, meaning a lot of players either sat out or were limited in today’s practice.

THOUGHTS

While Adoree Jackson’s multi-week absence is a concern, it’s promising to see guys like Adam Humphris, Larrell Murchison, MyCole Pruitt, and Kenny Vaccaro putting in full sessions after missing last week’s game (and then some). Rodger Saffold was at least limited, too, which bodes well for his chances to suit up Sunday.

I’m going to chalk up A.J. Brown and Dennis Kelly to maintenance. It’s become common for them to miss a practice or two each week.

Darrynton Evans, Tye Smith, Brett Kern, and Kristian Fulton — who have been designated to return from IR — all practiced, although none will be listed on the injury report as they are still not part of the active roster.

Jayon Brown and Ty Sambrailo were lost for the season against Baltimore and have been placed on IR. David Long, Jr. remains on the Reserve/COVID list.

The Titans won’t practice Thursday, as Mike Vrabel is giving the team the day off for Thanksgiving. Our next injury report will be out Friday.

THOUGHTS

In addition to a huge number of Colts missing Wednesday’s practice, including starting QB Philip Rivers, All Pro guard Quenton Nelson, and starting center Ryan Kelly, among many others, Indianapolis was also without DeForest Buckner and Denico Autry. Both players have been placed on the Reserve/COVID list.

Autry missed last week’s game, and Buckner just went on the list today (officially).
