Report: A fourth Titans player tests positive for COVID

According to multiple sources, the Titans had a fourth player test positive for COVID this morning:

This comes on the heels of the news yesterday that 3 players and 5 personnel people tested positive for COVID. This number doesn’t include Titans outside linebackers coach Shane Bowen who wasn’t with the team in Minnesota.

Additionally, the league found no close contacts with the Titans player whose test came back positive today:

All in all, the news this morning could have been a lot worse. One additional positive for the Titans and 0 for the Vikings is good news given the situation. The tests in the coming days will be equally as important, as the virus can take a few days to show up.

We will wait and see what this means for the game against the Steelers on Sunday. Today’s news may have actually increased the chances that the league wants this game to be played on Sunday.

We will continue to monitor the situation and update this article as we receive new information.
