Titans designate Adoree’ Jackson for return from IR

Despite the bad news about Taylor Lewan this week, the Titans as a group are getting healthier. Today, the team announced that Adoree’ Jackson would be designated for return from injured reserve, opening a three week window where their top corner can practice with the team before having to be activated.

There is a chance that the team could officially activate Jackson at any time during that window if he is deemed healthy enough to play. Returning to the practice field is a big step in his return after he was spotted working on the side field last week. We likely won’t know for sure whether or not Adoree’ might be activated for the Steelers game until this weekend, but this move at least keeps that hope alive heading into a huge AFC matchup.

The Titans will release their first injury report of the week later today and we will have more information on Jonnu Smith and other guys who may have picked up injuries from the Texans game to share at that time, but for now, this is a very positive development for a struggling pass defense. Coverage help is finally on the way.
