Titans GM Jon Robinson says 90% of Titans players have been vaccinated

The Tennessee Titans are among the top teams in the league when it comes to COVID-19 vaccinations according to general manager Jon Robinson.

Speaking with the press on Wednesday, Robinson updated reporters on the team’s vaccination rates heading into the season.

“We encourage our players to ask questions. We want to be an example for our community and for our state to encourage vaccination. We’re 90% vaccinated. That’s where we’re at,” Robinson said.

With 90% of the Titans’ players vaccinated against COVID-19, it puts the team above the league’s threshold for reduced COVID-19 protocols for the team. Dr. Allen Sills reported in a briefing with NFL media members that 80 percent of all NFL players have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

This news means the Titans will have a competitive advantage throughout the season.
