How can the Titans Fix their Pitiful Left Tackle Situation?

Currently, the Tennessee Titans‘ offense is currently trying to bite off more than they can chew.

Their receiver crisis is still ongoing — and still killing whatever potential the offense could have — the offensive line is still a rampaging mess, and the overall flow and state of the offense is something reminiscent of an adult in their early 20s, trying to put together their chaotic and positively uneventful life.

With so many problems going on at once, it can be hard to find some light at the end of the dark, rough, painful tunnel.

Usually there is, since bad situations like these still somehow finds ways to drift along and disappear like they weren’t even there. But for this offense, for this specific situation, there doesn’t seem to be any sort of warm light ready to embrace you and wash away all your problems.

Instead, it feels like a constant barrage of heavy blows you can’t defend yourself from.

That’s due to the receiver crisis of course, as well as the mind numbing situation surrounding the proper usage of personnel within the offense, and the consistently negative results we’ve come to somewhat expect from Titans offensive coordinator Todd Downing.

But one lone position offensively — and another element that prevents this offense from being able to go toe to toe against competent defensive efforts — stands out as one of the obstacles that are keeping this unit from breaking free of their oppressive shackles.

That component, or unfortunate circumstance, is the left tackle spot. Which is a position along the offensive line that has produced astoundingly awful results for the better part of the season.
