The red-hot Tennessee Titans will take their five-game winning streak on the road to Kansas City to do battle with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs this Sunday night. A nationally televised contest always adds additional hype to an NFL game. The Titans' legitimacy will be tested under the bright lights of primetime.
The 5-2 Titans aren't viewed as legitimate postseason contenders by most analysts and fans around the nation. That could change with a win on Sunday. High-level offensive play is all the rage in today's NFL and the Titans are seriously lacking excitement in that department. The Titans are averaging a league-low 285.6 total yards of offense per contest. It pales in comparison to Kansas City's second-ranked unit that's totaling 403.3 yards of offense per showing. Tennessee's 31st-ranked passing attack averages 147.6 air-yards per game. They're not exactly equipped to get into a shootout with Mahomes . . .
