Titans New: The slide

The Titans started off their joint practices with the Bucs by introducing Jeffery Simmons to the Bucs’ OL. Apparently there was nothing that Tampa could do to slow Big Jeff down. Hopefully that’s the case for every opposing offense this season.

Tyree Gillespie made his practice debut for the team on Wednesday and had a few nice plays.

Over on ESPN, Turron Davenport writes that Malik Willis is making strides developing for the Titans. Everything isn’t going to be perfect for Willis, who is extremely raw as a QB prospect, but it sounds like the Titans are very happy with his development thus far and they are going to be able to take their time with him.
