Titans News: A bit of redemption

Yesterday marked the return of Ryan Tannehill after missing the last two games with an ankle injury. The first half was extremely rough, outside of the two minute drill at the end. However, he played much better in the second half and was the reason on offense why they won the football game. If anyone questioned who the best QB on the roster was before Sunday, they have their answer now. It’s Tannehill in resounding fashion. They really missed him last week, when they could have beaten the Chiefs on the road and held the #1 seed in the AFC.

The pass catching group was awful on Sunday outside of NWI, Hooper, Burks, and Chig. This unit needs to be overhauled in a big way this offseason because this group is cheeks. Dropped passes doomed the offense in the first half, as did other mistakes, like a Malik Willis fumble. Stupid playcall, but Malik has shown that he is not ready prepared when it comes to jumping in for Tannehill mid-game. Third fumble on the year in non-starting duty for Willis.

The Broncos are pretty brutal to watch on offense. The Titans sacked Russell Wilson 6 times and had chances for a handful more.
