Yesterday, Jurrell Casey announced his retirement after ten years in the NFL and had a press conference at Nissan Stadium. Casey was certainly one of the best players to ever be a Tennessee Titan, and he should be enshrined in the Ring of Honor at some point. I mentioned it on Twitter, but it’s a crime that the Titans weren’t better during the Casey era. Thankfully he was able to participate in the AFC Championship game run in 2019.
Hilariously, Tom Brady trolled Mike Vrabel and vice versa in the Buccaneers web series. I would love a Super Bowl media week with the two of these guys going at it.
NFL.com wisely chooses the Titans as the team to beat in the AFC South. It is, however, pretty funny to me that someone would pick the Colts after watching their offseason unfold.
Darrynton Evans, Daniel Munyer, and Marcus Johnson were all added to short term IR and Luke Stocker was cut. Hopefully this is the last injury for a long time for Evans, as he’s had setback after setback since getting to the NFL. His talent is obvious, I’d like to see the Titans be able to utilize it.
