In the Tuesday edition of the Jim Wyatt Mailbag Experience, a fan asks if the Titans would trade up to get Ja’Marr Chase or Kyle Pitts. While I love the aggressive thinking, the Titans have far too many holes to commit that much future draft capital for one of those two players.
Mel Kiper has a new two-round mock draft out now. Elijah Moore and Asante Samuel Jr. are the picks for Tennessee. I like both players, and would be pretty pleased if that’s how the first two rounds shake out for the Titans, but I think there might be better players at both picks to select. For instance, I believe Terrace Marshall Jr. would be a better first rounder.
What are the Titans players up to this offseason? Titans Online has an update via the players’ social media channels.
On NFL.com, Adam Schein has a list of players that the general public is “down” on, but he’s not giving up on them yet. I think it’s time to let the A.J. Green, Patrick Peterson, and Jared Goff ships sail. Those players are either past their prime or were never good to begin with.
It’s time to never, ever, under any circumstance, let Maurice Jones-Drew do a mock draft ever again. This pick would be one of the worst possible selections for the Titans.
