Titans News: A true workhorse

Derrick Henry is listed by Gil Brandt as one of the players around the league that is being asked to do too much. I disagree with his analysis, as Tannehill certainly helps him too. That being said, Derrick Henry is the definition of a workhorse running back and the Titans are extremely dangerous when he has the ball in his hands.

Who is the NFL’s most disrespected running back? That distinction belongs to Phillip Lindsay, says Maurice Jones-Drew. He’s got a point, when you think about the Broncos getting Melvin Gordon despite the productiveness of Lindsay throughout his career.

Gregg Rosenthal believes the Titans win a close one against the Bears this weekend. He calls this matchup “sneaky great”.

From Matt Overton to Matt Orzech, the Titans will go back to back Matts over the next week. Due to COVID protocols, Overton will be the long snapper against the Bears and then Orzech will take over for the Thursday Night Football game against the Colts.

Once again, there were quite a few missing faces from the Titans’ practice on Thursday. Hopefully the guys missing were just receiving veteran maintenance days.
