Titans News: Absence Makes the Heart…

After being on the IR for a good bit of last season (Week 10 and on), Malcolm Butler is even more appreciative of the game. The Titans will need him to regain that pre-injury form in order to take that step from good to great as a team.

There have been rave reviews so far out of training camp regarding Darrynton Evans. I hope that the preseason praise carries over to live game action.

The Titans signed another DE/OLB, this time it is Jamal Davis. The former Akron Zip spent time last year on the practice squad.

One of the Titans’ free agent signings this offseason was special teams ace, Nick Dzubnar. He looks forward to making an impact in the most unsung phase of the game.

NFL.com ranked the top triplets in the league. The Titans come in at #10 overall, which is pretty good. There is definitely room to grow for the Titanic Trio, meaning they could soar up these rankings by year’s end.

Turron Davenport writes that the Titans are betting on continuity rather than splash signings. While I do think running it back with much of the same team is important, adding a key FA or draft pick is always needed.
