Titans News: Accountability prevails

On Monday, Mike Vrabel had some words for Julio Jones’ unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that turned a 3rd and 1 into a 3rd and 16. It killed any chance of sustaining a drive and put Tennessee in an even bigger hole. I imagine that behind closed doors, Julio heard even more from Vrabel about the mistake. I would imagine it doesn’t happen again.

The Titans have added a familiar face to the 53-man roster. MyCole Pruitt returns after being elevated from the practice squad. Bradley McDougald was also promoted and Michael Badgley and Tommy Hudson were waived.

Somehow the Titans didn’t end up on the Good/Bad/Ugly report on NFL.com. I would have put them squarely in the conversation for ugly given how embarrassing they were on Sunday.

Saffold says that the game against Arizona was a “wake up call”. We’ll see if they are still in sleeping in Seattle (the sequel of course to “Sleepless in Seattle”).

  1. Them not ending up on the Ugly section from NFL is actually more embarrassing to me that getting on there. It says we are so irrelevant that people don’t want to read about us, good or bad. We complained all offseason about how much we’re slept on, and then come out week 1 and do that. I really can’t blame anyone for thinking we’re just not a serious contender
