Titans News: Big time shakeup

On the day Americans decided the future of the country for the next four years, the Titans shook up their roster. They waived Johnathan Joseph and Beau Brinkley. They also have informed Vic Beasley that he will be released today.

It’s hard not to respect that Jon Robinson admitted a mistake in signing Beasley. However, it is a problem that getting a legitimate pass rusher to Nashville seems like a big issue throughout his tenure. Hopefully that is something he can correct this offseason.

The trade for Desmond King made it possible to release Johnathan Joseph. A CB trio of Adoree Jackson, King, and Malcolm Butler is quite good on paper.

NFL.com says that the trade for King made them winners of the trade deadline.

From 7th to 11th, that is how far the Titans fell in the NFL.com Power Rankings. Tough to disagree given what we’ve seen from the defense. Being ranked below the Bills doesn’t seem right though.
