Yesterday, the NFL owners officially approved a 17 game regular season schedule. It’ll be odd for the season to be pushed back, consequently the Super Bowl now on the second weekend in February. More football isn’t a bad thing though, unless it results in more injuries for players.

The Titans will take on the Saints in the extra regular season game. That should be a fun matchup to watch.
In the Cynthia Frelund data based mock draft, she has the Titans selecting Rashod Bateman from Minnesota. She says that despite the addition of Josh Reynolds, her data model still felt the Titans needed a pass-catcher. I couldn’t agree more, and I think the Titans will be very interested in the former Golden Gopher.
As free agency rolls on, the Titans have signed another player. Matthias Farley, the special teams captain for the Jets last year, is joining Tennessee on a one-year deal.
