Jon Robinson met with the media for the first time this offseason and he did not mince words when it came to Isaiah Wilson. Putting it as politely as possible, Wilson has been a disaster thus far. He has not done anything the Titans have asked him and is more concerned with his social media and spending money than playing football.
Another topic for the Robinson presser was the lack of pass rushing success. In order to take the next step, the defense has to improve. I did not love the answers that JRob gave regarding their evaluation process of pass rushers, but actions will speak louder than words.
Jim Wyatt and I have the same priorities this offseason when it comes to fixing the Titans. EDGE, DL, and WR. I would add CB in there as well if they don’t plan on going into 2022 with Adoree Jackson or Malcolm Butler on the team.
One way to answer one of those needs would be to add J.J. Watt. Tennessee has been in contact, per the GM, and hopefully he chooses them.
